We aim to increase the value of your assets and leverage them so that you can live completely in the now and in the future.
Two Philosophies for Creating Retirement Income
There are opposing ideas about how to build a portfolio that will provide income to pay living expenses in your retirement years. The plan you use is an individual choice and should be made considering several factors. We will be pleased to present the pros and cons of each, as they apply to your goals and all your assets.
If you are more than five years away from retirement, you may still be more interested in increasing
the value of your portfolio rather than creating an income stream from the assets. Our process starts with getting to know you through personal meetings and a comprehensive questionnaire. After learning all we can about your current financial life, your goals, and your personal feelings towards investing,
we can begin assessing the best way to help you grow your assets.
If you are near retirement or even already retired and need a better understanding of how you will financially navigate the future, our process starts with a detailed, comprehensive questionnaire so that we can get a full understanding of your liabilities (spending needs) and the total assets that you will be able to use to address those liabilities. After assessing your assets and liabilities, the third component of our retirement planning process is the construction of an investment portfolio that is designed to meet your specific non-discretionary and discretionary expenses. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive plan that will give you clarity, structure, and confidence in your financial life, so that you can use the assets that you have accumulated without fear of outliving the money.
At our core, we believe the needs of our clients should always come first. The cornerstone is integrity, which translates to independent, objective advice for our clients. A commitment to quality is at the heart of our culture. This idea is intertwined into everything we do, and it is what sets Bob Agnew apart. Financial advisors are not all equal.
